| Nothing really new to show in the way of exhibits this month but there has been progress in developments at the Museum so perhaps you might like to see some views. |

If you don’t recognise this it is the Sturmgeschutz III that came to us from Finland in 1990. It has now been restored to its original Finnish identity (complete with logs) by Mike Gibb and is proving to be a real eye-catcher.

And finally the Harry Hopkins (or light tank Mark VIII if you prefer). It featured on this site quite recently, now it is on display, in a corner of the main hall dedicated to reconnaissance vehicles, sitting alongside the Marmon-Herrington Mark IV and with the Coventry Mark I beyond that.
The new floor paint certainly gives the place a bright and airy feel and there is a lot more room around the exhibits. |
