| How to Support the Tank
Museum |
|
By joining The Friends of the Tank
Museum you can help in a variety of ways, for example:
|
- Museum Workshops
- Museum Archives
- Mobility displays
|
- "Tanks in Action" displays
- Vehicle rides
- Museum Wardens/Guides
|
|
| These are just some of the ways in which you can help. As
a Warden, for example, you will be in direct contact with
members of the Public, with the opportunity of talking about
the exhibits and answering questions. Don't worry if you
feel you lack the appropriate knowledge, training is available. |
| On the other hand you may wish to play
a less active role in supporting the Museum by just
paying your annual subscription - and the financial
contributions made by the Friends are an important factor
in the long term future of the Museum. Whatever you
decide, you will receive the following benefits: |
|
|
- Free entry to the Museum for yourself and a guest (excluding
special events)
- Regular issues of "Tracklink," the Friends
magazine
- Three free visits to the Archive and Reference Library
each year
- 10% discount in the Tank Museum shop
- Organised visits to events and places of interest
