This is our special section devoted to D-Day, 6th June 1944. The Sherman DD swimming tank is shown with its screen raised, next we see the famous DUKW amphibian (see FAQ) and then the Sherman Crab flail tank.

The Germans are represented by a Panzer IV and the little Tetrarch is displayed inside the remains of a Hamilcar glider, the type used to transport it to France on D-Day.
