This hall houses an impressive display of
main battle tanks from France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, America and
Great Britain. Sweden's contribution is the remarkable, turretless S-Tank while
the Swiss donated their interesting Panzer 61. From France we have two tanks -
the AMX-13 and the AMX-30 and from Germany, of course, the famous Leopard.
Four impressive machines, the M41, M48, M60 and the big M103 represent the
United States while the Russian contribution includes a T-54, T-55, T-62
and the sleek T-72. The British line-up runs from the Centurion through the
mighty Conqueror to the Chieftain and the latest Challenger tank. Dominating
the entire collection is the TOG-2, which at 80 tons is the heaviest tank in
the museum.
