Another new release in the Osprey/New Vanguard series by our historian deals with one of the most significant Allied tanks of the latter half of the Second World War. It may not have been the most powerfully armed Allied tank of its time but when you consider its influence both in North West Europe and in Italy, with at least six allied armies, it must be regarded as one of the most important.
Osprey, as you can see by the cover, have modified the format of their New Vanguard series; inside for example the colour plates are now spread throughout the text, but readers will find some interesting topics in the colour plates, rendered as ever to a very high standard by Tony Bryan. |
