SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS MONTH

This really has tested our tank identification skills to the limit and we thought we might enlist whatever help our visitors might be able to offer. It lies abandoned in a river in Florida and according to Greg Meeks, who came across it while on a hunting trip, the tank was used by a logging company who fitted some sort of winch device at the back; but what kind if tank is it?

| This is a shot of the turret, clearly only big enough for a machine-gun but notice that there are hatches at the front and both sides. |

And here is a view from the front which shows that the thing is of welded construction.
We have suggested that it is a Marmon-Herrington vehicle but since the suspension and tracks are not visible that is not going to be easy to prove–
