Museum Plans Packs Through the generosity of the Friends of the Tank
Museum, we now have a sophisticated IT system which enables
us to enhance the quality of our Plans Packs. The originals
were little more than photocopies, taken direct from official
documents; the new packs, which are more comprehensive, use
similar sources but these now include a vast range of drawings
acquired from the Defence Research Agency.
Now that the range of new Plans Packs covers a reasonable
selection of vehicles, the old packs will be withdrawn. The
new range is constantly being expanded, so watch this space.
Conditions
Of Use
All drawings are selected from official
sources and are sold on the condition that they are for personal
use only. If any material is required for publication the
museum librarian should be consulted.
The
Drawings
Scales vary from drawing to drawing
(due to the sources from which the material has been taken)
and it should be noted that drawings comprising a set may
all be in different scales. There is a variation in the quality
of the drawings being offered, (again due to the origins of
the drawings) although the worst have been weeded out. To
supplement this however, stowage, chassis and sectioned diagrams
have been added wherever possible.
